Question Please Help Me

Hello, I am a 33 year old female. I have been diagnosed with "Boderline Lupus", even though my Rheumotologist says my ANA test is negative, and so therefore, it is probably not lupus.
My life is going downhill. I can't even go to college, and I drive to it an hour away from where I live. I am too tired, and achy and sick to even get out of bed sometimes.
My sed rate is 85 and I have an elevated white blood count. I feel terrible, and was wondering if they dont think it's lupus, then maybe it's CFS?
I have 2 tumors. One on my breast is bening, but the one on my stomach, the dr's dont even know what it is. I am going to have it biopsied. What the heck can cause me to have a constant fever of 100 degrees for 4 straight months in a row??
My friends and family dont understand me, and sometimes I dont think they believe me. My own doctor doesn't understand how run down I feel, even though I am told my sed rate should be 0-20 and mine is 85.
I feel helpless and alone. I am hoping someone out there would have some advice for me. If not lupus, then what? My Rheumotl. says I show more signs of cancer than lupus.
My joints ache more each day along with the constant fever and extreme fatigue.
I see my rheum again next week.
Any advice at this point will do.
Thanks.

I feel terrible for you. I don't have a clue what may be the matter. CFS I generally feel is a thyroid imbalance problem but temperatures are usually lower than higher. You can check out Mary Shomans thyroid web site on about.com for other information on thyroid. She also has a TOP DOC list that maybe you could check out for another Dr. in your area for a second opinion. I hope you find out what it is soon and can get on the road to recovery.

Thanks for the advice and encouragement!
We'll see what the rheumatologist says this tuesday.

Seems to me a high temperature signifies an infection somewhere. Why don't you try posting your message on the thyroid board and see if you get anything. There are some pretty knowledgable people there. What's a sed rate?

Hi Oregon, yes it could be any number of things and hopefully not serious. Your body would benefit gratefully if you stepped up your intake of Vitamin A,C,and E.That could either be by fruits and vegetables or vitamin supplements. If you want an easier approach to taking your essential vitamins why not try to purchase a juice machine. Also I might add that the vegetables and vitamin
supplements are alot cheaper than buying a
perscription.Fruits and vegetables have been known to fight cancers and toxins in the body
besides ever look at a product ingredient box lately, there is a nice list of chemicals your ingesting. If you take your Vitamin A,C,and E everyday and perhaps a few more that I have left out your health can only improve, all the best to your health, get well soon.
