There are several forms of therapy such as Andro-Gel 5 or 10%, and the injections and also patches. The injections deliver the highest amount of testosterone but need to been done right on time to keep your levels peaked. The andro-gel is not as strong but works better over the long run for someone on long-term therapy...its applied once a day. Insurance should cover it all as long as you get a referrel from your primary doc....tell them you never have any energy, and that you have no desire for sex and feel run down...then just a simple little blood test will show what you need.....levels considered low are around the 200 mark......mine was 212 and i was placed on it....after about 4 or 5 weeks i started seeing big results as far as energy, sexual desire and just feeling better everyday. I started a very low intensity workout program(2 to 3 times a week) and after 3 months could tell a big difference in muscle tone/mass....less body fat especially around my waist and lower back. It did wonders for me! Good luck
