Does anyone know the relationship between CFS and chronically swollen glands (by the neck/throat)?

Jimmy if you find out let me know, my glands are swollen in my neck and head, they don't know why yet, but i am weak. Haven't been tested yet for much, only lymphoma, strep, mono. I'm waiting for them to go down, better be in a few days or else I'll be back at the DR. in a panic. Wendy

I don't know what the connection is, but when I am having a rough time, my glands are very swollen. Mine are swollen some most of the time.

My lymph nodes in my neck used to stay sore and swollen all the time. I would run a low grade fever, etc. etc.

I ended up having one in my neck removed because it hed become so large it was pressing on glands around the jaw area. Apparantly it had become inflamed or swollen so many times and for such an extended period of time it was "used up" -- the doc called a diffused lymph node.

I just dont seem to have that trouble any more...I dont know why. It just went away...although other symptoms didn't.

I guess Im no help except to let you know it is not unusual and that sometimes it just goes away for some unknown reason.

PLease if anyone knows why my glands keep swelling let me know. It keeps happening and my dr was vrey concerned and now she seems so relaxed about it. my grandfathers sister died of leukemia when she was nine so I get scared about that and also I ahd a friend die at age 20 and that was her first symptom. I also have alot of allergies so I don't knoe if that can be what's causing it sorry I know I'm not much help.
