First, get a medical opinion. Get checked for mono, EBV, I would do thyroid, diabetes, and a basic blood pannel. It is possible that the 8 hours you get during the week is not enough. Don't believe it when people say EVERYONE needs 8 hours sleep a night because it isn't true; everyone's body is different, and some people sleep only5-6 hours a night and funtion normally because that is all they need a night; other people need 10-11 hours. It is also wise not to sleep in and make up for lost sleep on the weekends, it messes up your internal clock. Try getting some books on insomnia, and it tells you how to determine how much sleep you need.
