I think I might have CFS. I have thought this since I was 20 years old, and I am now 30. Money has been so tight and I've never been able to continue doctoring long enough to get diagnosed with anything. I am tired and weak all the time, constant headaches, generally not feeling well. I have a hard time holding down a job due to calling in sick a lot. I have brain fog, dizzy spells, ... al ot of things...
I just wanted to know what kind of doctor to go to for this? I have tried a general practitioner and family doctor.
I should also mention I have PCOS, which a lot of the symptoms could be from that, but a lot of others with PCOS only problem is infertility... I also have that in addition to the other stuff. I just wondered what all of you had been tested for and what was ruled out before the actual diagnosis of CFS.
stac8454 i would suggest what the rest of us do with fibro or cfs especially if you have the pain that goes with it a rheumatologist or pain management doctor. i go to a pain clinic the doctor is actually a anestisieologist, and is into pain management. he is great. so either one of these i would suggest.
hope this helps.
I feel tired, lethargic and just burned out most of the time. Right now I'm doing fine, but boy keep me out in the sun too long and I just melt. HELP ME,
I'M MELTING!!! That sort of thing. Well, I drink energy drinks as if they are going out of style, I was in the ER on Monday just to find out that I am low in my Lithium levels and my Potassium levels. My cholesterol is near 500 and I weigh close to 225 lbs. My fiancee' was with me the whole time at the hospital. I hope that we can be diagnosed soon! The doc told me to taper down my drinking those energy drinks until I can totally stop drinking them. So hang in there and I will too. Eating right, drinking plenty of water, cranberry juice, and excercising is great for all of us. Let me know how you all are doing and if you can find a specialist doctor about our CFS, tiredness and etc. Peace be with you.
