Ok, I'm new here and I've have not been diagnosed with CFS. I'm not sure whats wrong with me either. I am tired all the time, I have no energy. It's been going on for about 3 months now. I just thought that I was over worked at first, and a little depressed, but it's starting to worry me. All I want to do is sleep. I just can't seem to get enough sleep/rest. What is going on????????? Am I just lazy? I just feel so drained all the time. Help!
Look into sleep disorders like sleep apnea and hyponea.. these can be triggered by allergies and weight gain and other such things. I wouldn't blame it on laziness or CFS or sleep disorder induced sleep deprivation without getting checked out by the relevant specialists.
Sincerely,
MG

another thing is they say 90 percent of adults have insomnia a few nights a week which makes them too tired.my sister disappeared 5 1/2 years ago,and since then i barely sleep.i am lucky if i sleep 3 hours a night, even though i have tried ambien, tylenol pm,goody pm,and even trazadone.and i am tired all the time, have no energy, can't do things i used to always do.

I am sorry to hear that you are so tired all the time. I use to have also problems falling asleep and feeling fatique and tired. My girlfriend recommend a whole food based supplement Juice Plus and since then I have felt great! I so strongly believed in the product that I became a distibutor. If you need additional information on Juice Plus I can let you know. I will keep you in prayer.
Please have your blood tested for anemia, it will not go away on its own, it would be good to rule it out. There are a lot of different anemias, so talk it over with your dr.
PS-I take a small amount (2mg) of melatonin when I go to bed, and it works very well. I have tried a lot of other sleep aids, expensive and inexpensive, this is the first thing that has ever worked well long term. I haven't tried valerian root, but they say that works well too.
Take care
