| CFS, mitochondria & building muscle as helpful?
Hello all,
I have read that Chronic fatigue could be due to some sort of insufficient energy in mitochondria and that mitochondria are located in the muscle cells.
I have also read that increase in size of the muscles, increases mitochondria, which gives more energy to muscles and maybe the entire body as well
Question: Would larger muscle, that contains more mitochondria, make a person have more energy? I mean if you can't settle for quality (of functioning of existing mitochondria size) could the quantity (size) of mitochondria in muscle cells help?
Of course in the short term one would feel more tired, as from any other exercise. But what about longer term? Would bigger mitochondria help, or the problem will not be solved at all?
Thanks.
