| Re: CFS + sweating Hi Tina,
How are you?? Sounds like you are having some difficulty. I completely understand and feel for you in this matter. If you check out this other post on here, you will see that I have been experience a lot of the same symptoms that you have.

I was only recently diagnosed with CFS and Fibromyalgia but realize that I have probably been suffering from them for several years. I have terrible fatigue a lot of the time generally due to CFS. Sometimes I am helped with sleeping at night by my pain meds for FM and CP and therefore am not as tired the following day, but generally I'm always exhausted. As for the sweating, let's not even go there!!!! First of all, my dad is from Morocco (a desert people) so it runs in my blood to sweat a little more than other fair skinned people would, but combine that with CFS and it is beyond ridiculous!!!! No matter what I do, I sweat. I get up in the am, go to the bathroom and by the time I get to the living room or fix breakfast I'm sweating. I get out of the shower and am sweating instantly even if the room is cold. I walk outside to my truck, I'm sweating.... When I even do a light house cleaning (vacum, sweep and dust a very small house) I'm drenched. Clothes sticking, face dripping etc... Not to mention actually going out in the heat (I live in TX). Getting from teh AC in my truck to the door of a store and my face is running and my clothes are all damp. I have to carry papertowels with me everywhere to wipe the sweat. It's so aggravating and embarassing in public. I wish I know something that would help but I don't. My doc said that hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating) can be caused by all types of physical imbalances or medicines.
Has your MD run bloodwork etc... to rule out other conditions? If not, I would certainly have this done. As far as an endocrinologist or a naturopath, that is totally up to you whatever you feel comfortable with, but I would at least get your complete blood count, thyroid, iron levels done at a bare minimum!!!
Good luck with this and let us know how you are doing and how your medical appts go whichever route you choose! Remember though, you are NOT alone in this and we are always here to listen and answer questions if we can. Take care of yourself.
