I live in Perth Western Australia, and have just found out about this amazing doctor who has 5 PhD's currently, and possibly more on the way, he met my Psychiatrist as a convention as this is also an area of interest for him!! He is a doctor, immunologist and healer! He has cured people of immune deficiency disorders such as CFS and many other 'no known cure' disorders people have suffered for years! Chronic Pain, fatigue and many others they have suffered for decades. Of the people my psychiatrist referred (12) 11 of whom now "worship a statue of this man in their houses" as he gave them their lives back and changed them forever. All you need is a referral to him, the cost is high ($1500AUS) for initial consult but he becomes YOUR doctor, researcher and amazing healer. He looks at the body holistically and does full bloods like no one else ever known! He looks at every system, every part and can tell you what is wrong and does his absolute best to fix YOU! He spends 2.5hrs at least with you getting your full history(no 20 min consults here) and after that is available to take your calls and answer your questions follow up consults are $200 AUS like any other specialist and after he has seen you the first time he goes away and researches your specific symptoms, condition and all you are going through.
His name is Dr Anish Singh, Perth, google him Best of luck I have an appointment next week and hope finally.
Re: ****IMPORTANT*****There may be help.......Immunologists!
Hi Aussiechick8,
I too believe you have found a great Dr.... Here in the states I have found a team of them that are doing that very same thing w/me. You're right the cost is high and most insurances here will not cover a lot of the tests, blood or otherwise, but they do a great job of tracking exactly what may be the causes then treat. (w/anti-virals, Topical vitamins, etc... here). Good thing here is no referral is needed, just money. It is very worth the money and the drive to Austin Tx.

Good luck, I hope you feel better soon.
Who are the doctors you are working with in Austin? I am looking for an immunologist in Austin right now and would appreciate any recommendations.

Hey Perthite, I'm from Perth but been living in Karratha for a few years. I've had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for about 2 years now and am searching for something to help with the fatigue etc. You mentioned Dr Anish Singh and that you were going to see him. I was wondering how the appointment went and if you think it would be worth making an appointment to see him.
I really believe in the case of chronic fatigue, if they can't find it on your blood work, they need to check your immune system. A simple ANA test. I don't know what the difference is in an immunologist to a rhematologist, since both treat immune problems. You could probably get the same results from either type of doctor. I checked on a facility that specializes in chronic fatigue, and they told me first visit would be $1000. That's crazy. Just make your doctor do an ANA test, make a sure fact that you get a copy of the results, if it's elevated or high, have it repeated a month or two between, if it keeps coming back positive, believe the results. A rhematologist will usually not ignore the results if they are high enough, but a general physician will not diagnose autoimmune disease on a positive result. They even have the nerve to say well maybe she's having false positive results. It took me 10 yrs, but I finally have the diagnosis. It kills me, they can give us a diagnosis of cfs or fibromyalgia, and neither they can actually prove through any blood test, but your ANA is high and can mean something, they totally ditch it as nothing. You can have the disease developing with the only symptom being chronic fatigue. All that other good stuff will just come along the way.
That is great, that you found a Doctor that really care's about his patent's. If you can ask this one question about this antioxidant "Glutathoine". And how important it is?
