I was wondering if someone with CFS can have breaks in the exhaustion?
I was just told by my rummy who was testing me for different things that in order to have a CFS diagnosis you have to be exhausted all the time for a matter of months and not letting up. But then i read on the CDC website to be diagoned that some people have a pattern of remission and relaps of exhaustion and other symptoms. I have been trying to find out whats wrong with me for over 7 years now and no one has the answer.
Do you have any other symptoms related to Lyme Disease? Maybe you can post over on the Lyme board.
Unfortunately the tests for Lyme are only 30% accurate. So you may have it and test negative. Most people who have Lyme also have CFS.
For me the fatigue was constant but some days I had a little bit more energy than other days (when I literally could not move at all from the fatigue).
Get a Lyme test but don't believe that it's the be-all-end-all. The tests are faulty and only a Lyme specialist (LLMD) can diagnose you or rule it out.
