Chorinic fatigue totally cured

Hi,

I was suffering from bad chronic fatigue for months. I am almost cured.

My chiropacter who does not believe in medicine made me go on the following diet

Allowed diet

1. Proteins
2. Greens (Kale, swiss chard, collard, mustard) and beet root. Some/all of these have to necessarily eaten at every meal. They provide all necessary minerals and restore the acid/alkaline balance.
3. All veggies

Prohibited Item

1. All carbohydrates : wheat , rice
2. Everything that has sugar. This is the key
3. All flour items made of wheat
4. Minimal or no fruits.

I was amazed when I got almost cured in 1.5 months. I have to be on this diet for 3-4 months and then I can go back to eating my regular diet

This is supposed to cure my liver infections and the fungal infections that I carrry which dont show up in the regular blood tests and which cause chronic fatigue.

This diet (especially veggies) will increase the alkalinity of blood and virus, bacteria and fungus cannot survive in blood which has optimum alkalinity. Kindly read the Acid Alkaline Diet for Optimum Health by Christopher Vasey.

Another very good resource is "THE PROTEIN POWER LIFEPLAN" by Michael eades.

I am very sure that this diet can cure all chronic fatigue issues. Do not go to allopathic doctors who dont know a squat about CFS. They will order test after test. I had to suffer for years to find this solution. Kindly read those books if you have doubts.

This diet is difficult at first but slowly one gets used to it. There is no way one can eat junk food, processed food diet and be cured on chronic fatigue. That just does not happen.

Re: Chorinic fatigue totally cured

wow thank you for that post. seems like a really hard diet but if you say it gets easier over time then i will believe you. and will have to keep trying.

something that works for me is Juicing, if you have a juicer and you press organic veggies into it it can really wake you up! i can be soo tired and i dont want to drink coffee or too much of it. then i juice and about an hour later Im full of energy, and not the nervous hyper energy coffee gives you, but a young energetic feeling. It only lasts about 4 hours though and you have to juice again, but i believe if i keep it up over the long run i wont need so much. I have already seen my asthma improve from juicing, so im sure it can cure this too. they say you should juice 3 tiems a day, but even once a day is better then not at all.

Can you use spices with this diet? For example can I put chicken broth spice on my chicken?

Thanks so much!

Re: Chorinic fatigue totally cured

I don't use prepared stock cubes because they have artificial stuff and yeast in - yeast is bad. I do use either fresh or dried individual herbs/spices and they haven't adversely affected me.

Re: Chorinic fatigue totally cured

I'm Sorry but I've had CFS for 12 years. I have been on that diet twice. The first time for 3 months the next time for 7 months! You may have Celiac disease, Yeast overdose, High Metal toxic, or something along those lines but you did not have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I have been tested for just about anything imaginable, a test for MS is my very last thing to be tested for. It goes hand in hand with FM & CFS. I have CFS & FM which was both diagnosed by a Rhumetologist, not a Primary Dr giving a diagnosis because they don't have any other ideas. Primary Dr's specialize in Viruses, & health problems like Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, ect but a Rhumetologist Specializes in Disorders such as CFS & FM. A Neurologist specializes in things like MS.
If Diet cured your problems then you are a very lucky person to not have the disorders I've had to endure all these years. There is no cure for what I have. I have also suffer from Derealization & Depersonalization which I'm in the process of getting an MRI to be tested for MS. I see an Endercynologist in July for my Low Thyroid disorder I've had since 2003. I've seen a Neurologist, Back Specialist & Chiropractor for my back condition. So, as you can see, non of these specialists are Primary Dr's.
If someone wants to try these diets, go ahead. However, they are very difficult to stick to, your body doesn't get all the nutrition it needs, & it's usually a waste of time. I felt awful on this diet. BTW, it's called the "Caveman Diet". It's easier to be tested for Celiac, Toxic Metals, Low Vitamin D, Low Vitamin B12, Thyroid, ect.

Re: Chorinic fatigue totally cured

Im sorry you are in a crappy mood, thefarm. I think it's unfair, however, to state that if the diet works then the diagnosis is wrong. CFS covers a range of multitudes and things, as we all know. Diet can be, or it may not be, an important element in recovery, or in the worsening of symptoms.
Who knows really what the cause of CFS is. One of the keys to recovery is to aid the body as much as possible in dealing with whatever it is fighting. If in that process it helps the body to remove carbs, sugars, processed food, etc from the diet, and therefore lightening the burden of digestion and reducing the volume of toxins so that the body can start to deal with things then so be it. Or diet may be a cause. We don't really know and it's wrong to say it isn't a cause when you don't know, or when it just isn't in your case.
The low carb diet is actually nutritionally sound and healthy. There are many many many advocates of this diet. Including my own local healthcare team who support me.

I also see a wide variety of specialist drs, not primary care doctors. I also have a wide range of diagnoses and have had a large number of tests. We are all having it tough, we are all struggling to get through the day, and if anyone finds something that helps them then that's great, and we should all encourage that.
I really hope you get some success with finding something to help you, or finding some enjoyment in the day. It's crappy being ill. It's hard to always be positive, sending you hugs and healing wishes xx

Re: Chorinic fatigue totally cured

I'm actually not in a crappy mood. Do I feel crappy? Of course. Am I exhausted? Yes. Does my whole body hurt? Yes. Do I suffer from Derealization & Depersonalization? Hell yes. It sucks. I spent 12 years trying to figure out what was wrong. I have went to numerous Drs & went through numerous tests. I have tried diets, vitamins, detoxification, ect.
What irritates me is people going on about Miracle Cures when there is No Cure for CFS at this time. There is no Cure for Fibromyalgia or Derealization & Depersonalization. There is No Cure for MS.
I find it frustrating when people post about cures when in fact the isn't any. If there was our Dr's would be giving us the Cures.
Should people not try these diets? Well if they want to give it a shot, then go for it! Maybe it'll work for them. If it does, then they were misdiagnosed. I know a lady that was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. She did the "Cave Man" diet & it worked for her! It wasn't Fibro, she's allergic to Wheat. As a matter of fact, I'm allergic to Wheat Gluten but can eat other wheat. This is why I was so strict on the diet. Didn't do anything for me though.
I just know how it feels to constantly try new things & the disappointment that it doesn't work.
The post should say: "What cured my Chronic Fatigue Symptoms". Talk to any Neurologist, Rhumetologist, ect & they will say that if a person found something that got rid of their CFS or FM, then they were misdiagnosed.
I'm Sorry if I ticked anyone off, that is not my intention. But I am an honest person & after 12 years of dealing with this crap, I have learned quite abit.

Re: Chorinic fatigue totally cured

Tori,
Hey gurl its FML....from the FM message board I was checking out CFS and a few other things like PTSD just to see how they are, and I was interested to find out if on all the other message boards...if they are as supportive and kind and caring and understanding and all that whole best wishes to you stuff. I wanted to see if it was as encouraging and loving and if all the different diagnoses shared the special bond that I have been blessed to be in such a group of wonderful people, including you, in the FM (Fibromyalgia) message board since the beginning of June this year while out on a sick leave.
So then I happend to come across this thread and I can't remember when you replied but DANG GIRL YOU HAVE GOT A LOT OF NERVE TO BE SO INCONSIDERATE!!!! I couldn't believe it was you who had responded and maybe it was just a bad day kinda thing BUT SERIOUSLY THAT WAS PRETTY HARSH!!! I believe that nutrition and diets can help to make some one feel better. To each their own. I hope you feel better and I'm done for now looking at the different disease states esp after reading that. It seemed so awkward to even think it was you because you are so supportive and caring at the FM message board. It was just really shocking to me that's all. I think I'll stick to just the FM message board for now. Many hugs to you & stay positive...and to all of us on our road to either recovery or just having a good day with all our struggles we bare as well as our illnesses that don't have cures!
Best to all,
~FML~

P.S. Tori I'll chat with you on the FM message board...where many hugs and support dwell
And Tesss I agree with you 100% keep up the great positive support and kindness that you have to share on the CFS message board for you have a lot to offer
