surgery while suffering from CFS

I was diagnosed with CFS in March. I had issues with my dysfunctional gallbladder and had it removed today lapascopically. My ID specialist told me to expect more exhaustion due to the surgery. However, he said that it would only last a few days. Has anyone had surgery while suffering from CFS? How did it affect your recovery???

Re: surgery while suffering from CFS

I havew had 3 surgeries, major ones, since being diagnosed 22 years ago. Instead of taking me a week to recover it took me more like 2 to 3 weeks.
