5th day of recovery

So, I'm 16years old, and i'm in my 5th day of recovery,
The pain hasn't been that bad, though i am on a lot of medication.
all of mine, tablet form.
Morning's are the worst for me, because my mouth is dry, but after drinking a bit of warm water it's better,
the first day i ate nothing, i had to stay overnight at the hospital,
the second day i had some pumpkin soup,
the third day some mashed potato, mashed pumpkin, and mashed veggies,
the fourth day i had solid foods, chicken Kiev, vegetables, and scallop potato,
today i've eaten some noodles which took a while to get down, and for dinner left over scallop potato,
Though the only thing i've really been able to drink is warm water,
I did try to drink some orange juice, but it burnt my throat, so i'll wait
and a lot of the food's i'm eating, all taste the same,
it's weird, I can't talk properly either, it's difficult. hopefully i will improve though.
i have two weeks off of school, so that'll give me some time to study and catch up,
for anyone, i think you should just try to eat solid foods, it's better for recovery, and drink plenty of water, warm perhaps ?

Re: 5th day of recovery

I hope your recovery goes well. Warm water is definitely better than cold - it's more soothing and easier on the body. What have you had diagnosed? Chronic fatigue is usually diagnosed after several months..
Take care, best wishes
