I have had chronic fatigue syndrome for 28 years. I recently had a blood test for chlamydia pneumoniae and it came back positive, which is common in CFS. Have any of you tested positive and what did you do about it?
Hi Suek1000, I see a specialist for this bacteria. You will find this bacteria in alot of Alshiers, chronic lung problem patients, MS patients, some cancers, Fibro...on and on.
You can find specialist for this bacteria by looking from where you are sitting. Doesn't matter if it is a current or past infection. Just like Mycoplasma Pnumoniae, Lyme, and many other bacterias, depending on each persons immune system is how it will affect us.
And just like Lyme or any other infectioin, one must see a specialist.
You are a doll! My chronic fatigue syndrome doctor, dr. scott rigden, says to take the treatment. My mayo clinic dr. says it's a past infection, no worries. If we can put a man on the moon, this should be a no brainer to figure out! I live in Mesa, Arizona, which is in the phoenix area. Thank you so much for your guidance! < edited >

Hi a7801, treatment for CPN is basically like Lyme treatment. They both are hard to eradicate from the body.
You can find info on CPN by reading up on Dr. Charles Stratton...
Been under treatment for 13 years for both, have taking many many antibiotics, have done many types of supplements. We are all different so what helps one person may not be the answer for the next.
