I was wondering if their are other married couples with marital problems due to the illness. Why I'm sure is we rarely ever argued ,always got along done every thing together but since I got sick and had to retire early she seems to have lost respect for me.I still provide good so I don't think it's that although things are tighter now.She has developed Fibro about 3years ago and I am supportive of her.We have been married 35 years and I still love my wife but I can't stand to be talked down to like I'm of no worth because I have memory problems and it's hard to predict how I will feel one day to the next.I'm all ear's if someone has any suggestions?

Hang in, I know how you feel. It is the same at my house. But I wouldn't know where to go. I am 71, married 41 years, CFS over 20 years. Try making notes, carry a little notebook if you have trouble remembering. Have you tried Gingo ? Start to do puzzles and anything else to help you remember. Maybe someone you know could help you find books to improve memory or tricks to use. God bless you and may help come your way.
