Unhappy worried about cfs

I have just been diagnosed with cfs yesterday. I already have fibromyalgia (fm) and now I have been told I have cfs. What has caused this and how can I get out of what feels like a loop hole of fatigue and pain. When I cannot sleep due to the pain from fm the next few days I am unable to lift my head of the pillow and sometimes feel depressed because of the condition. Can anyone who suffers too give me any advice to how I can get some normality back in my life. If this is all I can expect for the rest of my life then its no wonder I feel depressed. I used to be a happy go lucky person who worked hard and had friends and I want that back. Please advise me if you can.

Re: worried about cfs

take one step at a time. First, you must get sleep. I take Ambien and have for over 15 years. Then try the next step to pursue and realize you are a new you and you still can do but not as much. And appreciate every day for what you did even if it is not what you would have liked to do. Set a goal for the day of to do --- and then be glad if you find at the end of the day you did part of one because you have another day to and another and another. One very close friend was the answer to help me , but I lost her last year but I keep going now I have a dog to help me to be grateful he is a dog I saved to save me. It is very tough I hope you all the best.
