Well I have had POTS/OI for 4 years and now CFS diagnosis, not sure if its just bad POTS again, but it really doesnt make much difference what they call it
When I was 18 I had my "crash" and was bed bound for 8 months. After a TTT and loads of meds I started to get better. Then I started smoking back up again. I was able to get off all my meds and did pretty good. I could drive, work part time and enjoy life a lot more.
Fast forward I got pregnant and quit smoking. Because of the added fluids I didnt do too bad, but the end was not fun. Afterwards I was a wreck. I have been home bound for the past 2 years now and no longer drive and applied for disability at 22 years old.
I was reading that high adrenaline levels ( i have constant surges from low blood pressure) can activate your immune system. I have had EBV and severe allergies since I quit smoking. I truley believe that so much adrenaline is making me sick. However, I dont want to smoke again, but I hate florinef because it gives me migraines, and midodrine doesnt work too well for me. Any suggestions? I use leg compressions, drink tons of water and salt pills. I just want to be able to stand again!
