Just a word of caution. If you are currently taking the Oxy or any other pure agonist drug (morphine, fentanyl, hydromorphone, hydrocodone, oxymorphone, or methadone) and you put one of those buprenorphine patches on, you
WILL GO INTO WD!!
Buprenorphine is a partial agonist/partial antagnoist. So, that would be very bad. Just go back and look at Steve's thread about his very horrible detox experience with the buprenorphine. I had a similar experience (also in that thread) with Nubain. Nubain and Stadol also fall into that drug category that will send anybody dependent on opioids into immediate w/d's. Just be careful, ok??
