CSF Leak at Pump Site?

I am going in on Friday to have the catheter insertion site revised and a blood patch placed. I found out this weekend that I have CSF leaking from the point where the catheter enters my spine. Has anyone else had to have this done?

Re: CSF Leak at Pump Site?

I have had a CSF leak with blood patch, though I have no pump. I pray you dont have the terrible spinal headache like I had after an epidural last year. I also had one after my fusion in January. The one in Jan stopped on its own with alot of laying down and caffeine. The blood patch work immediately and stopped the pain of my headache.
I have another Epidural on Thursday and am really scared of the leak.
Best wishes for you with your procedures.
Shannon
