Flexeril
Is Flexeril a muscle relaxant? Or something different. I can't take baclofin so I use valium some nights when my legs are jumping. Allan

Hi Allan, the answer to your question is yes, flexeril is a muscle relaxer. For some people it knocks them out where as for some of us it doesn't do anything for us.

Yes, flexeril is a muscle relaxer and it is amazing that my 13 year old daughter is taking this for a neck problem and it is the same does as mine. It does not phase her but it knocks me down for 24 hours. She only ways 80 lbs. less than me. It just goes to show meds, affect others differently.

I just started taking it. It does knock me out. So I won't take if I know I have to drive somewhere. It has helped the cramps I was having in my feet and legs but not much help with the muscle pain.
