I'm being prescribed milnacipran hcl by 1 Dr.(work comp), hydrochloroquine by my rheumatoloogist, and am currently taking selegilene hcl for early onset Parkinson's. The work comp Dr. assures me that it's all OK eventhough on-line research shows me differently. HELP!
I would recommend calling the pharmacy and talking to the pharmacist. Make sure it's the pharmacist not one of the techs. They are the experts on medications and can tell you if there might be a problem. If there is, perhaps the pharmacist could contact the Dr. about the conflict in the medications on your behalf.
I would try to print out the interactions that you found during your search and bring them to your doctor. Also tiggertoo2174 has a great suggestion about talking to the pharmacist. I know from a family member experience that when drugs interact it is not a good thing. Good luck with the info.
