Hi All! just found this place today. I'll try to keep it short cuz its hard to type with only my left hand, my right arm is the current problem. Ok, I first got tendonitis in my right shoulder, surgery (bicep tenodesis) about 5 years ago. A year later, same problem with left shoulder, surgery again. A few months later, surgery on left wrist/hand for tendons and 'clean-up' of ligaments. Last Fall, tendon surgery on right elbow (lateral release). SO...then hubby had a car accident 2 months ago and I seriously aggravated my elbow taking care of him. Also, now my left elbow is starting to hurt too
None of this (except re-injuring elbow taking care of hubby) was caused by any injury, overuse or any reason that me or a slew of Drs can figure out. My Dr just had me start PT, and now the pain is ridiculously bad. Is that normal with PT, to get worse before you get better? Anybody have any ideas about WHY the heck my arms are falling apart?? BTW, it's only in my arms (knock on wood). I'm 40 years old, but the shoulder pain started in my early 20's. I'm active but nothing extreme. I've spent hour after hour researching trying to figure it out and cant find any answers to this. So extremely frustrating!!!
