Re: waist and chest pain
have they ever actually bothered to even do a simple ultrasound on her abdominal(which also would include all upper GI organs too) just to get a good look at the possible generators here of this type of pain? looking at the liver, gall bladder(GB pain very often WILL show on the opposite side of where that organ actually sits?) and pancreas would be the three most common things that just could be generating this particular type of pain for her. have they actually done any labwork on the above mentioned organs just to see if anything is actually out of the norm or would show some level of real inflammation? between getting that one ultrasound done on that whole abdominal along with all that real bloodwork realistically should be able to give the very best overall type of real picture of just what could generate what have been 'her" particular radiating types of symptoms. i DO hope you are still checking this. sorry i have not been able to always get down here into the pain forums as often as i used to. but she does NEED some in depth testing in order to even begin to try and find that generator of her ongoing pain and symptoms. "something' is simply causing this that has to be tracked back to that source. how is she doing at this point? any new symptoms? marcia
