Hello, im 30 and for the past couple of months now ive been getting really bad lower back pains, specially when im laying on the bed and the try to get up. It feels like with one wrong move i get shocked, the pain is so bad it makes me jump which makes the pain even worse. Sometimes i cant even bend over cuz im afraid of the shocking pain that will come if i do. And im also afraid to sneeze, and if im laying inthe bed i kind of have to get in a fetal position so the pain would be less. What can it be? Please help.
After suffering with lower back pain and many drs. without luck, until one dr. ordered a MRI and we got answers and had to have surgery. I suggest you talk to your dr. and ask for a MRI otherwise you will be running around in circles and with pain.
Welcome! If your doctor hasn't been helpful in this, ask to be referred to a specialist (or find one yourself). A pain management doctor or an orthopedic could be helpful. Have you been evaluated for a pinched nerve? I'm not too familiar with back pain but that is the first thing that comes to mind when you say the pain is shocking, comes on or gets worse when you sneeze, etc. Be patient but be persistent with the doctors. Best wishes.

What you are describing sounds a lot like a bulging disc. Dont fool around with this. Go see your doc, or if they cant get you in soon, try the ER. Youll need an x-ray at the very least, and most likely an MRI to confirm. Good luck.
