Have you been to a urologist? Has anyone done an MRI? As for the pain, gabapentin at 400mg three times a day is still a fairly low dosage, as many people require at least 3000mg per day. Also, there are other drugs that may reduce your pain better than the gabapentin, so ask your doctor if something else may work. Many antidepressants and anti-seizure medications are used to treat pain. Some of these include pregabalin, amitriptyline/nortriptiline, carbamazepine, duloxetine/fluoxetine, clonazepam, venlafaxine, and many others. If your doctor doesn't seem to be able to help, you might also want to consider seeing a pain management specialist, preferably in a pain clinic setting. You shouldn't have to be in such pain.
