Talked to my husband today. He finished detox and they started him on his replacement meds today for add (non stimulant) and put him on a pain mgmt program that has him taking 4 muscle relaxers/day for the fibromyalgia. He said they make him so woozy/sleepy that he could only take 3 today bc he was afraid he'd miss one of his classes.

Prior to rehab he was not in a pain mgmt program or seeing a PM doc. Our regular doc only rx'd him 800mg ibuprophen for pain but he supplemented with lortabs (usually 5s but also 10s when he could get them. Took from 2-4/day when he had them, which wasn't every day).

Does it seem right that they'd put him on muscle relaxers when his primary doc didn't have him on anything like that before?
