Let me know if I'm normal. Thanks
Hi - I find that my heart speeds up a lot any time I'm sick, too. I tend to have a fast pulse anyway, and I get anxious easily. When I'm sick, it seems like my heart just has to beat faster because my body is working at fighting something off. I don't know if mine gets up to 140 or 160, though. I do remember one time I had a very bad cold/flu, and I went to the ER. They got temporarily concerned because my pulse was so fast, and they hooked me up to a heart monitor. But then they found nothing abnormal so they let me go. *shrug*
I also know that if you take certain cold medicines, they'll raise your heart rate. Have you been taking anything like that?
