whole body chills

Does anyone else get these...when I have the flu I'll be really really hot but then all of a sudden ill get a comes like a wave over my whole body and makes me so cold..what causes these?

I know that the hot flashes are from my body heating up in an attempt to kill the flu virus but these cold flashes are something else..

Anyone know?
Look at me
you may think you see who I really am
but youll never know me
now I see if I wear a mask I can fool the world
but I cannot fool my heart
who is that girl I see, starting straight back at me?
When will my reflection show who Iam inside..

Re: whole body chills

Having the chills is one of the main signs of fever. Your body is hot one minute then the next cold. Sometimes when the fever is not to high it is best to let it alone. This means that the body is fighting off the infection. Then you will probely sweat it out.
