Are nausea that leads to vomiting and feeling really really warm over your whole body (warm enough to open a window when its 30 degrees out and feel fine) symptoms of the flu or do I have something else? My other symptoms, besides those, are mild fever (99.5F), lower back pain, dizziness and mild weakness. Could this be the flu? I did not get a flu shot either.
sounds like it, but I would have a doctor check you out. You want to make sure of what you have.....I don't know what the flu shot is for this season, but a lot of times people confuse the Flu with a stomach bug or food poison, the flu shot protect against Influenza from what I undertand, a respiratory problem. But that is only my opinion, why don't you check out the cdc, they give great information on all types of things.
No, it isn't the flu. The flu does not cause nausea and vomitting. There is no such thing as "stomach flu," despite the fact that people throw that term around. You have some other gatrointestinal bacterial or viral infection.
Strains of influenza B this year have some gastrointestinal side effects. I would say it is a possibility that you have the flu, but since you your temp is running so low, I would be skeptical.
