yeah throat cultures suck though. they use like 3 cotton swabs at a time, and they have to get a lot more swabbed. plus it takes 24 hours at least to get the results bak.
have you considered allergies..my allergies cause my throat to swell up and become painful. try some claritin or benadryl, and some sudafed..if you see any relief...then its most likely an allergy.
