besafe20 Senior Veteran (female) Join Date: Feb 2003 Posts: 1,348	cold passed to me but different symptoms Hi every time my husband gets a cold he ends up giving it to me. The weird thing is he always gets a terrible cough with each cold but when I get it I never get the cough. Why is it that he gets such a bad cough but I get nothing, even though it is the same cold!
