Question Cold Sores
I have a cold sore and was wondering what non-medicinal relief there is for it, I had a whole bunch of relatives come over these past few days so i assume i got it from the greetings hugs and kisses, but i am 38 weeks pg, and want it gone before the baby comes so i don't pass it on to her since it is contagious. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi
i have cold sores a few times a year and sadly there is no cure, although i have tried MANY things and pills from the doctor, and tea tree oil dries it up it usually takes a week or so for it to heal so if you are going to have your baby after that you should be alright.

Hello,

whenever i feel one coming up, usually a numb tingling feeling... i apply hydrogen peroxide with que tip then put neosporin on it. I have found that it never develops into anything serious or even noticable, but i never really get it bad... I have also heard that dmso it good and gets rid of it fast, hope that helps in the future..
