Question Help with Laryngitis
I'm having a sinus infection and laryngitis. I'm experiencing a total voice loss for 5 days now. Has anybody experienced the same? I'd like to hear for how long the voice loss lasted for you. When can I expect my voice to return?

I am dealing with the same thing. My voice is starting to return now and it was gone for about a week but when i was 16 it was gone for 3 weeks so I guess it just depands of how long the illness lasts. I am still very sick and my voice is still week. I also now have a asinus infection, very painfull pressure in my forhead. When I caugh I feel like i may pass out.

Hi smackliet. I'm sorry to hear you are ill. My voice is starting to return now, it was gone completely for 9 days and it is still very weak. My doctor told me to be very careful when the voice is returning so I'm trying not to talk more than absolutely necessary. The second dose of antibiotics was effective for my sinus infection, it was a bacterial one.
Are you on antibiotics? Are they helping? Basically, you should feel the difference by the 2nd or 3rd day.
