One morning, I woke up and I felt like a car had hit me!!! I even wake up in the middle of the night because I can't breathe and then I can't go back to sleep. I wish this would go away...and I don't know what to do to push it out of my body...lol. My head hurts when I blow my nose now, I think that's just because I've been blowing my nose so much....and my mucus is again yellow, it was clear yesterday. My ears are also clogged up and they don't like to pop...I don't really know what I'm asking here...I guess has anyone else gone thru this annoying cold!!! lol |
Virus or bacteria usually camps out within the soft, moist nasal areas, and can stay there for long periods of time, causing much pain and misery.
For me, at the first sign of a cold or bacterial infection, I flood my sinuses with a mixture of "diluted" 3% hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and kosher salt, and it helps me to quickly recover from whatever is attacking my sinuses.
I have posted more information about "sinus flooding" on the Allergy Board, under the topic: New 'upside down sinus flooding' documentation. , or cut and past the following link in your browser address window:
