is there any truth to clear sodas (sprite, 7up) being good for you when youre sick? ive heard this a few times, and im wondering why it would help

Sometimes a hot sprite or 7up can help nausea.

Gingerale is good also.
I also heard that coke (flat) is good for nausea. But I always go with Gingerale.

Gingerales really good I reckon. Friends have told me that coke can calm an upset stomach and help a sore throat too. I think it would depend on what sort of perosn you are though-like how you react to different things.

I was always told a clear, unfizzed soda is good-like dramqueen said, I think it all depends on the person-either way, make sure when you're sick to drink plenty of liquids so you don't get dehydrated though.
