Unhappy Ahh I got a cold and I dont know of medicine to use!

I recently moved to Europe, Belgium to be exact. Since I have been here I have come down with 2 head colds. The first one was ok and lasted bt a few days. Now I have caught another one, and this one is bad. I am very congested, achy, sore throat, runny nose, watery eyes. You name it, Ive got it! The problem is, that since I have moved here, I cant find a good decongestant. We dont have the basic Nyquil, alka seltzer, etc medicines. Right now I am stuck with some advil(which helps with the pains) and some throat spray. I really need a decongestant really bad. Does anyone else live in Europe and know of anything? Or are there any "home remedies" that will help? Thanks

Isn't there an equivalent to our pharmacist or drug stores? Maybe one of them could help you find a good decongestant that is equivalent to ones you are familiar with. I hear marshmellow root is good for thinning out the mucus and also licorice root. Europe is more into herbs than the US so it may be easier for you to get a hold of them. Just ask a drug store clerk.
