Will this give you a cold?

I know this might be a stupid question and i know dust obviously can cause allergies, but, if you dust, can you get sick with a head cold? I don't know why, but everything I dust with a rag, I get nothing but sneezing, watery eyes, but, it lasts for days later and i still feel icky. I don't know if it's just allergies acting up or if it's the sign of a cold?

i did switch to those disposable sheets that are premoisten and i notice, i don't feel has bad after using those, i just thought, if it was allergies, wouldn't it go away after a few minutes? it just seems weird that literally like 3 days later, im feeling horrible.

also, i know people say, to wash your hands is the #1 way to prevent getting a cold/flu. what if you're out, at work, at the store, and someone is sick near you, coughs near you, sneezes near you....what are the odds that you will catch whatever they have?

at work, people are feeling sick, despite it being 90-100 degrees outside and im doing all i can to NOT get sick...at least not till after september, which is when my 2 week vacation is.

sorry if im an idiot, but there are so many conflicting stories on how you can or can't get sick and i just want some reassurance.

Hi
Allergies can last for day's or a week if not treated with an allergy medication. I get flu shots every year and have been doing great. My last cold was over a year ago. But I wash my hands often throughout the day. I also share my Computer and Telephone with other Employees. If I notice that I may get a cold or one of my Coworkers may do, I use desinfecting spray and alcohol pads to clean my desk, phone, keypad and any surface I can. I also spray in the air.
have a great vacation
