You need to be careful with the combination medicines such as Nyquil. It's recommended to consult your physician before taking Nyquil in you're pregnant so that he can evalute the risks for the baby vs the benefits for the mother.
Drugs like guiafenesin (regular Robitussin), acetaminophin (Tylenol), saline spray (Ocean), pseudoephedrine (Sudafed - after 1st trimester) and Chlor-Trimeton are normally considered to be some of the "safe" drugs. It's always best to get the Ok from the doctor though, who's aware of any other health concerns you have and medications you're taking.
