Anyway, here is my dilemma, I have a history of sinus problems and this past may I went and saw a doctor due to constant sinus congestion/runny nose/etc which lasted a few months. He gave me nasal spray and an allergy shot and it literally did wonders. I was cool this whole summer and fall...until now.
I thought due to the weather getting colder here, that me getting a cold was just normal so I ignored it for the most part. Well, its been going on for a little over a week now. I wake up with head aches, I cant sleep, I dont have any energy, and all I crave are crappy foods. The worst part is when I blow my nose, I get this THICK disgusting reddish-brown mucus from my right nostril, but my left nostril is clear or nothing. When I slide my fingers down my face, my left cheek area on the side of my nose is more "raised" than the left side.
Ive had sinus problems before, but now the mucus color is reddish-brown and thicker.
What is wrong with me? I will go see a doctor, but before I go pay a 40 dollar co pay from my student checking account, I want to know if its just time to get another shot or is it something else?
Any replies are appreciated. Thanks.
