Head Cold - Colds & Flu Message Board

So,on Saturday,I started to get sick.I had a sore throat.Yesterday,my throat was worse,and my ear started hurting.Towards last night,my nose became stuffy and drippy.Today,I woke up with a totally stuffed up nose,a headache,and a throat that's still sore,but not as bad.All day my head has felt very pressured (like someone's been squeezing it),and the pain is particularly bad around my eyes...Is this something more than just a cold?Or should I just let it run it's course?

Sounds like you have a cold. My started on Fridaywith same symptoms. Now I'm plugged up like cement, can't breathe through my nose and decongestants are helping only minimal. I might be a little worse since I have sinus issues already. Take some cold medicine, if not better after a week, can always pay a visit to your family doctor.

Yup...same thing I have. This is literally my third cold since mid-November. My best guess is it is just a head cold and I agree with hp8.

Ok.

That's what I thought.

I'm feeling better,but my head is still pressured,and I still can't breathe through my nose half the time.

I just hope I'm better by Friday,because I'm going on a trip then.
