I have the same thing - I dealt with what I think was the flu for about three days, and then I had a sore throat that lingered for a day. Right now I have a dry cough that is producing phlegm...I've had this particular cough before and it got cured with a round of antibiotics, but I don't know if it's a new illness that spun off of the flu or if it's the flu taking it's sweet time to heal.
