Re: Green phlegm, Do I Need Antibiotics?

Why would a doctor tell you to take painkillers for phlegm? Sounds odd. Antobiotics kills both good and bad bacteria in the body, they are not really the answer although many turn to them anyways. They create superbugs. Phlegm coming out of the body is a good sign that it is loosening. Try to build up your immune system, add some eucalyptus oil to a warm baths and use a humdifier if your air is dry inside of your home. Take lots of vitamin C and D to help your body overcome this sickness and to help build it up.
