| A head cold with loss of smell
I saw someone else post about something similar a few posts down but I'll tell my story.
I got a very nasty cold about a 8 days ago. It's the first cold I've had in well over a year. Anyway, now its 8 days later and the nasal congestion keeps kind of lingering while the rest of my symptoms are 90% gone. But, the very disconcerting problem is that I've lost all sense of smell and taste which I've never had happen before. I used Afrin 1 time a day for 3 days earlier in the week but it's been 3 days now since I used it and I've used Afrin many times before without any trouble so I don't think my issue is related to that. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas?
