| Re: Bad Cold with fever for 8 days.
I also have a question...
I caught some serious cold about 10 days ago while on a trip. Hotel was cold, train was very cold... I had fever, cough deeply from my lungs, made horribly strong sounds when coughing and secretion was coming up, was spitting it out.
Sore throat, headache, eye-ache...
I live in Europe, here fever is measured in Celsius. The "limit" where temperature turns into fever is 37 degrees... so anything above 37 is considered fever...
Problem is that I am starting to feel better with my lungs, but now my throat actually got worse.
I was under strong treatment with all sorts of medication, hot tea, everything, cannot understand why it is actually worsening!
Weird is that my fever is alternating... it goes up and down. Above 37, then below 37, then above... For 2 days I had no fever, now again.
I am taking extra care of mylelf, still no idea what this is!
My questions:
1) What is happening when fever goes up and down? Like everytime I measure it is is either up or down. Variations in Celsius are up to 0,5 degrees... like from 36.6 to 37.1,
7,then from 36,8 to 37,2
2) Could this be H1N1? For 10 days nobody else got infected in the house, just me!
Thank you kindly for helping,
Dave
