I am 28 and otherwise healthy but I have had 4 colds in 9 months which is unusual for me. Previously I can't remember being sick for almost 2 years. I have moved from the country with small population to the city could this be the cause? Any help would be appreciated. Could it maybe be allergies? Thanks :-)

Hi there Emily! Are you working around any kids? I am constantly sick working in the grade schools. They carry cold after cold and flu after flu. They are like little petrie dishes of germs. I am looking for a new job because I am so tired of getting the colds. I have one right now with a bad cough. Its just not worth it to me. Otherwise it may be your change in environment. I upped my vit D to 5000 iu a day and it solved my cold and flu problem.

Do you take a daily multivitamin/mineral? This could help.... ditti generaly healthy lifestyle, getting atleast 7 hours sleep a night etc.

Having said all of that, 4 colds in 9 months isnt that unusual.

I need some help understanding my ultra sound results. The Right lobe of the Thyroid gland is enlarged and diffusely heterogeneous in appearance with increased vascularity. Right thyroid gland measures. 6.4x3.2x4.2 cm. the left measures 5.4x1.7x1.3 cm what does this all mean? Thanks would this explain my lack of energy and ability to lose weight?
