Are there any supplements to help the immune system against a cold? I've had 3 in the last 6 weeks! When I feel the scratchy throat, etc... I start taking echinecea, vitamin c, and cats claw. Is there anything that knocks it out quickly or anything that I should be taking every day to keep me from getting colds?
Personally, I would recommend taking at least a multivitamin designed for your age/sex each day. Also, when you feel a cold coming on, the first thing you should do is take a Vitamin C supplement. I always do this when I feel a cold coming on and it helps me to either avoid the cold or makes the cold much more short. Also, Zinc and other Antioxidants are pretty important too. But remember, the body needs A LOT of different vitamins and minerals to stay healthy and the best way to get those is to eat healthy.
