I have been dealing with this over a month now - 1st time I went to the doctor got a Z-Pak. After finishing that I had itchy eyes, runny nose, watery eyes - over a week ago I got another cold I assume went back to the doctor this time I am on 10 days of Amoxicillin. 875 mgs. 2 times/day. I still feel stopped up - seems as though I can blow my nose and it just goes on and on and on. Yesterday coming back down the mountain - my ears didn't pop - and it took a good 30 minutes for them to finally open up! I had never had that to happen before - everything was sounding "muffled". I was actually getting scared! They finally did pop though. But I have a lot of drainage to - looks to me like I should be feeling better!

Sounds like you are fighting some viruses. With them antibiotics don't help. Try treating the symptoms. An antihistamine for the itchy eyes & nose, mucous relief for the secretions, (like mucinex), a pain relieverr for the aches and pains.

A cold can last up to 2 weeks. If you take an antibiotic it will be gone in 14 days. :-)

Try Aleave Cold and Sinus, one twice a day..... it has a potent decongestant tio clear the nose, sinuses and ears, along with an analgesic
