Popping in throat when I swallow

I have been sick, think its a cold because I've had a sore throat, sinus problems and coughing and it only started a few days ago on the weekend... now I;m feeling better than I had been feeling and this morning I woke up to a popping in my throat when I swallow. I don't have medical insurance and have no money, so I can't go to a doctor to find out what's going on.

I would like to know if its serious or if its just a normal symptom of a mild cold.
