| Chesty cough for 6 weeks & possible mild cold?
About 6 weeks ago I got Bronchitis, and while I only felt hideous for a few days, the chesty / phlegmy cough (which was there from Day 1) still remains.
It's kind of getting me down as I'm sick of always coughing. I cough for about 20 minutes straight every morning and recurrently during the day.
Things were gradually improving except about 4 days ago, I woke up feeling as if a large twig was embedded in my right nostril. HORRIBLE feeling!! From about 6am until 8am, I just sneezed and sneezed and sneezed. When I got up I blew my nose multiple times and each time the amount of snot was phenomenal. Each time I sneezed, right afterward my right nostril would be normal for about 3 seconds and then what followed is best described as an intense and all-consuming itch that enveloped my entire nose, and then I'd sneeze again. If I tried to hold in the sneeze or stifle it, there was a huge pressure at the back of my nose & throat that felt like it was literally hitting my nose from behind when I sneezed.
Ever since, on and off, my throat feels like it's constantly running and I sneeze frequently. Each time I sneeze, I have to blow my nose right after or it runs uncontrollably.
So. Is this a cold? I don't feel sick in the slightest. However, my chesty cough that was improving slightly is now back and slightly worse because of all the stuff in my nose going down into my lungs. Ugh.
Thanks. Any suggestions are appreciated.
