Worried about symptoms
Hey.
2 weeks ago I had the 24 hour flu with a fever of 101.
A week later I got 2 swollen lymph nodes in my right neck, along with a few pimples on my scalp. I have no sore throat..
The doctor did a swab for strep - negative
Blood counts - normal
I saw a show concerning HIV, so I looked at symptoms which I have had in the past 2-3 weeks.
I havent had sex of any kind/shared needles or used needles (other than the blood test), no risks, but im worried because of the symptoms.
Any explanation for the symptoms following the flu? Even though doctors didnt mention any infection?

If you haven't had sex nor shared any needles..trust me..YOUR fine! The swollen nodes and pimples are just a coincidence. Seeing you did have a fever it probably was something viral. I'm sure within another week or so you will feel just fine. Don't worry about something needlessly. Sometimes searching the web is helpful and other times it is scary as you see symptoms that could fit a 100 different things.
